The Pincher Bug

You are in a season of change where it is time to leave the past in the past and move forward into your destiny.

God knows who is supposed to move forward into your destiny with you.  You want people around you who encourage you, who support you and who have your best interest at heart.

So, why the picture of the pincher bug?

Recently, I asked God to show me the heart of a friend, and He showed me this person as a pincher bug.  Pincher bugs are relatively harmless, but they do bite and their bites can be somewhat painful.

In this new season, you need to be surrounded by people who love you and support you, not people that "bite" you.

God was warning me that person was not someone who should be a part of my destiny anymore.  They had selfish motives, no remorse for their actions, and even tried to manipulate my walk with the Lord for their own personal gain.  People that try to destroy your destiny are not you friends.

When this happens to you, the first step to take is forgive them, then release them.  Lastly, keep walking forward for you will meet the people God has already chosen to walk with you, the ones who respect you and genuinely desire to see you fulfill your destiny.

He Knows Where We Are

A lot of of times people think to themselves, "God, do you know where I am?  Do you see my circumstances?"

Be assured that God knows exactly where you are.  He orchestrated your steps so that you are exactly where you are supposed to be at this very moment.  God is making sure we will be in the right place at the right time having promotion and having favor.

As long as we listen to His leading, we cannot get lost.  There are times when we are in a dry place, a desert situation thinking we made a wrong turn when actually God led us into that desert.  Jesus was sent to a desert place by God in order to be tested so He would be seasoned and prepared for what was coming next.

So, do not fear that you are lost; you are exactly where you are supposed to be this week.  Do not step out in haste on your own.  Wait for God to lead you to the next place.  Check out Isaiah 55:11-13 to see why.

Our Own Worst Enemy

Sometimes we can be so hard on ourselves.  We create schedules cramming too much to accomplish in a workday or try to follow some strict new diet or exercise plan only to fall short and unable to achieve the goals we set up for ourselves.  God never sets us up for failure; we set ourselves up for failure.

We think we need to complete 20 things a day instead of 7 or 8 in order to be considered good enough to be loved by God or used by Him.  All we end up really doing is condemning ourselves.  God knows how to get us from point A to point B, and He knows what we will accomplish each and every day to get us there.  God has it all planned out; so stop feeling "less than" and begin to enjoy the life God has given you.  Take the pressure off of yourselves.

If we do a little bit each day of the assignments God has given us, and not give up, we will eventually arrive at the place we are supposed to be at.  We will have peace because we will have done it in God's timing, and not our own.
